After three years in jail, kurdish activist is free now
MAF NEWS – Ali Khoshnamak, a Kurdish political activist was freed on Monday, after spending his three years in prison, Maf News reported.
According to the Center of Democracy and Human Rights in Kurdistan, 55-years-old Khoshnamak who is from Iranian Kurdish city of Marivan was arrested in 2014.
Khoshnamak was accused of ‘having tie with Iranian Kurdish (opposition) parties.’
After spending 70 days in solidarity, khoshnamak was finally sentenced to seven years in prison by Iran’s Revolutionary Court.
