At least 29 Kurdish activists summoned and jailed in Iran
MAFNEWS – 29 Kurdish activists in Iran have been arrested by Iranian intelligence agency known as Etelaat since December 6, 2018 over “relation with Kurdish (opposition) parties.
According to the Center of Democracy and Human Rights in Kurdistan, Adel Ghaderi, 27, from Piranshahr’s village of Pasveh was arrested by Etelaat over relation with Kurdish parties on Wednesday, January 23, 2019.
In Sanandaj Farshid Feizollahi, 33, and Mehran Mohammadi and in Bokan Akam Ghaderi (31-years-old), were accused of connection with Iranian Kurdish opposition parties on Monday, January 21, 2019.
In Sarpole Zahab Yaser Mohebi (38-years-old), on Sunday, January 20, 2019 and in Urmia Ghader Zeini, 27, Thursday, January 17, 2019 were arrested.
In Oshnaviyeh Ali Esmaili, Osman Hasani and Hasan Mousavi,Jamal Mousavi, Osman Hoseini and in Sanandaj Edris Mohammadi and Awat Karami were arrested on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 by Etelaat. Esmaili, Hasani, Mousavi, Mohammadi and Karami were accused of connection with Iranian Kurdish opposition parties based in Iraqi Kurdistan Region.
Anvar Saiedi from Javanrood, Musa Esmaili from Piranshahr’s village of Pasveh and Iraj Mohammadi from Miandoab were summoned to Etelaat on Sunday, January 13, 2019, and jailed.
In Kermanshah, Ehsan Darabi and in Oshnaviyeh Behnam Ebrahimzadeh a labor activist were summoned to Etelaat and arrested on Saturday, January 12, 2019.
Mohammad Rezaie was another activist from Kamyaran who was arrested on Saturday, January 12, 2019 by Etelaat.
Abdolkarim Kakol and Saber Zolgharnein, from Oshnaviyeh were arrested on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 over “relation with Kurdish (opposition) parties.
Aram Advaie and Borhan Advaie from Sarvabad were transferred to Etelaat’s jail on Monday, January 7, 2019.
Zanyar Zamiran, a activist from Kamyaran was arrested on Sunday, January 6, 2019 and transferred to Sanandaj for further investigation.
Majid Tibash, Behzad Shahsavar and Siamand Shahsavar from Urmia’s village of Dizaje-Margavar and Arshia Maleki from Pave’s village of Zardouie were arrested by Etelaat on Wednesday, December 26, 2018.
Mostafa Mostafaie, an activist from Bokan was arrested on Thursday, December 6, 2018 by Etelaat. Mostafaie was accused of connection with Iranian Kurdish opposition parties based in Iraqi Kurdistan Region.
