Five Iranian Kurdish Inmates Executed in Kermanshah
MAF NEWS – Five Kurdish prisoners faced the death penalty in Kermanshah prison in Iran on Monday, December 11, on murder charges, Iran Human Rights (IHR) reported.
Iran Human Rights Organization reported that five prisoners convicted of murder were sentenced to death in Dizelabad Central Prison in Kermanshah.
On December 11, five Kurdish prisoners were executed in the central prison of Kermanshah. The prisoners were all sentenced to death on charges of murder.
One of the executed prisoners has been identified as Kaikaws Ashuri. He was arrested in 2002 and sentenced to death. He spent 15 years in prison since he was charged with murder.
110 Kurdish inmates have been executed in Iranian prisons since the beginning of 2017 over various charges.
