Iran arrests a journalist over blaming the Gov’t for supporting Houthis
MAFNEWS – Amir Hossein Darabi, a Kurdish journalist has reportedly been arrested on Tuesday over criticizing Iranian Government’s support of Yemeni Shia groups.
According to the Center of Democracy and Human Rights in Kurdistan Darabi is taken to an unknown location by the Iranian Intelligence Agency known as Etelaat.
“He (Darabi) blamed Iranian authority for supporting Yemeni Houthis,” a source from Kermanshah told Mafnews on condition of anonymity.
The sources continued that Darabi had published that instead of supporting Houthis the Iranian Government could support Iranian child labor to study.
The Iranian Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance has reportedly warned Darabi for publishing the report.
