Iran arrests seven more Kurds
MAF NEWS – At least seven Kurds have been arrested by the security forces in the Iranian Kurdish cities in last ten days, one was freed on bail, Maf News reported.
According to the Center of Democracy and Human Rights in Kurdistan, seven Kurds are arrested by the Iran’s intelligence service known as Etelaat due to political causes.
“One was also transferred to prison (from Etelaat) as he has been determined to jail by the court,” Maf News reported, “And one was freed on bail.”
Most of the arrestments took place in the Iranian Kurdish Cities of Sanandaj, Kamyaran, Bukan, and Mariwan.
The International Human Rights Organizations have always accused Iran of violating human rights, but Iran rejects all the accusations.
Below are list of the people who have been arrested as well as the accusations.
. Jaseem Ahmadi from Ilam. He was accused of “cooperation with Kurdish opposition parties.”
. Mohamad Qobadi, son of Ahmad, from Kamyaran. He was accused of working with Kurdish opposition parties as well.
. Moslem Ibrahimi from Sanandaj, for being member of a Kurdish Islamist party.
. Mahmoud Ghaderi, from Negel. Maf News has not been able to obtain the information and reason that why he was arrested.
. Naghshin Karimi, who was visiting the Etelaat office to visit her husband was arrested as well.
. Sohrab Bahrami, a social activist From Sanandaj. He was transferred to Sanandaj’s Prison after he was sentenced to four years in jail.
. Madeh Mahmoudi, an environmental activist form Sanandaj was arrested and transferred to an unknown location.
. Sulaiman Mirzaee, from Bukan. He was arrested in his housed without any reason and transferred to an unknown location.
One detainee named Ali Hajizade, from Urmie was freed on bail. He was also accused of “cooperating with Kurdish opposition parties.”
