Iranian Border Guards Kill 1 Kurdish Porter, Injure 9 Others
MAFNEWS – Iranian border guards opened fire on a group of frontier carriers known as Kolbars and killed one kolbar and nine Kolbars from Urmia, Sardasht and Baneh were shot and wounded, Maf News reported.
According to the Center of Democracy and Human Rights in Kurdistan, 23-years-old Soran Mohammadi from Sardasht was shot and wounded last night (2019-01-24), while they were passing the border.
In January 13, 2019, Sirwan Hasanzadeh, also a Kolbar from Sardasht was shot and wounded by the border guards.
Namegh Gholami was shot and killed by the border guards in Baneh border and Jabar Ahmadi and Karzan Aminzadeh were shot by the border guards and wounded.
In January 12, 2019, Shahriar Khezri a Kolbar from Sardasht was shot and wounded.
Afshin Alipour, also a porter from Urmia was shot and wounded by the border guards in Nazlou.
Iranian border guard on Tuesday, January 11, 2019 shot a group of porters in Khoy’s village of Ghotour and killed a porter named Abdollah Yousefi and Ehsan Khaledi, 23, was shot and wounded.
Jebrael Ahmadi, from Bradost-Urmia was shot and wounded and Mohamad Abasi from Naghadeh was killed by the border guards on Friday, November 30, 2018.
Naser Omari, from sardasht, was shot and wounded by the guards on January 09, 2018.
Although, two articled of Iranian constitution say that the Iranian armed forced are not allowed to open fire unless they are in danger, but tens of Kolbars are being shot and killed every year by the border guard of the Iran.
