Iranian Kurdish Political Inmate in Critical Health Condition After Hunger Strike
MAF NEWS – An Iranian Kurdish political inmate who had been on hunger strike for over three days is currently suffering from a critical health condition in the prison.
“Mohamad Nazari was hospitalized in Prison’s hospital (Urmia) after his condition was reported critical,” according to Mafnews.
Nazari, a 46-years-old political activist, was detained in his hometown of Bukan in West Azerbaijan Province on May 30, 1994.
He was sentenced to death by the Iranian regime, but the sentence was later reduced to life imprisonment.
He started a hunger strike to force the judiciary to review his case.
