Security forces arrest seven protesters in border towns
MAF NEWS – Iranian security forces reportedly arrested seven protesters on Wednesday in recent strike against closure of border gates between Iraqi Kurdistan Region and Iranian Kurdistan and increasing importing tariff.
According to the Center of Democracy and Human Rights in Kurdistan, Abubakir Mohammadi from javanrood, Reza Assadi, Mohsen Alizadeh, Rezgar Refahi from Baneh, Jabar Zahedi from Mariwan, and Qader Mohammadnezhad and Jamel Osmani were arrested.
All the detainees were accused of “encouraging shop owners to go on strike and protest.
